YouTube Teaming with Sony?
YouTube is desperately seeking Professional content, and with Nowhere to Run in Hard Times, rumor has it they may be looking to team up with Sony for a Quantum of Solace. Though still only hearsay, the duet could prove to be a Big Hit.Google procured YouTube two years ago, around the time Sony obtained Crackle (for significantly fewer zeros). Now the two may be teaming up for a Double Impact. Disney announced its cooperation with YouTube just last week, and not surprisingly, YouTube may have their Auto Focus on other Hollywood Knights to make new Neighbors like Sony.
The lineup from Sony is decent enough, but would likely be limited to about 15 movies for YouTube. Likely candidates include:
- The Karate Kid 1, 2 and 3
- Who's Harry Crumb
- Wild Things
- Tommy
- Rudy
- Jumanji
- Godzilla (vs. everybody)
- Ghostbusters
- Groundhog Day
- Stripes
- Any other Bill Murray flicks they've got
