UPDATE: We've moved vSocial down to the bottom of the review because some of the changes to the company have made the site difficult to categorize as a video share site. As of right now, vSocial is actually a "software as a service" that enables companies and other web entities to host their own video. While you obviously can still use it to host your videos, it's not nearly as user oriented as the top 3 services in this review: YouTube, Metacafe and Break. The original review is posted below, and the vSocial service still has the same types of features, but there is no website to visit where you can post your videos and share them with others.
VSocial, as the name the name implies, is geared towards video sharing and social networking. On you’re My vSocial page you can save your friends, read and leave comments for others and create a profile.
VSocial has a searchbox and you can search videos by channel. The video search works well and brings up relevant content. They list the most popular, new and buzz videos. You can also search by popular tags, so you can search videos based on what other people are looking for. Each video has three thumbnail previews.
This video share website has a lot of animation. Some of the cartoons are favorites from television and others are written, drawn and filmed by amatures.
As a viewer, you can also leave your comments for a video.
VSocial has some practical features for producers. One of our favorites allows you to build a video roll to put in your blog, website or anywhere else. Additionally, vSocial has a number of tools that will help you to build and manage your content.
You can contact customer support by phone and email if you have questions or need technical support.
